Trojan Transfers

Trojan Transfers (TTP) are Eligible to Rush and Join TKE before transferring to USC if Selected

Each year many prospective USC students are invited to participate in the Trojan Transfer Program (aka TTP or Trojan Transfer Pathway). These prospective students often ask “Can I join a fraternity and, if so, when?”

If you are in the Trojan Transfer Program and interested in joining a fraternity while you attend another school you can participate in UPIFC fraternity recruitment and join TKE if selected.  TKE USC Bylaws define membership as follows:

“A member must be a male student in good standing at the University of Southern California or other academic institution that is a part of the admission process into the University of Southern California.”

USC does not allow students attending other academic institutions to join a fraternity which means that Trojan Transfers are not eligible to join USC IFC fraternities until the start of their first year at USC.

If you want to join a fraternity in your freshman year we recommend that you live in private student housing near the University and enroll at a local community college.  We encourage you to participate in fraternity recruitment.  For our rush schedule and registration info click here.
