A USC TKE Student-Managed Investment Fund
Founded in 2016, the Beta Sigma Investment Group (BSIG) invests over multiple industries using a diversified long-only approach across its two funds. New analysts are trained to build pitches, analyze financials, and think critically about investing. Through alumni speaker series and hands-on investing experience, BSIG analysts are prepared for a career in finance.
BSIG is entrusted with an endowment of more than $200,000 that was raised by TKE undergraduate members and alumni. The undergraduate members of BSIG with support from alumni advisors are responsible for investment strategy and all trades.
BSIG is organized into two groups of members that are based on experience, interest, and ability. Analysts are responsible for monitoring our existing positions and researching new positions for the smaller “growth fund”. Portfolio Managers are responsible for monitoring our existing positions and researching new positions for the “capital preservation fund”.
Our Mission Statement
Beta Sigma Investment Group seeks to educate members about the financial markets through hands-on investing experiences focused on both capital preservation and opportunities for stable returns benefiting philanthropic causes while maximizing members’ chances for future success in securing a job in financial services.
